Binghamton University to host leadership development program

Binghamton University's Office of Continuing Education and Outreach will sponsor a 20-week Leadership Development Certificate Program beginning January 17 and ending May 30.

The non-credit certificate program consists of twenty classes taught by corporate trainers and University faculty.  New to the program this year is a Service Learning Project that will engage and deepen participants’ professional and personal ties to the community. The program is interactive, hands-on and application-oriented and is geared toward team leaders and managers as well as high-potential individuals preparing for future leadership positions.

Participating companies include BAE Systems, Crowley Foods, Fidelity Investments, HealthNow, Lockheed Martin Systems Integration, the Raymond Corporation, Sanmina-SCI Corporation, Security Mutual and Universal Instruments.

Enrollment is limited and early registration is encouraged. Online registration is available at, or by mail or phone.  For more information, call Jocelyn Thornton at (607) 777-6855.
