Binghamton University to host exporting seminar
Binghamton University will host the “Strategic Exporting Seminar; A beginners guide or a refresher course” from 8:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, October 25, in room 324 of the University Union West.
This workshop is designed to assist small and medium sized firms in learning how to prepare and process export documentation, and how some of the more common trade transactions are financed. This program is tailored to those who are new to the exporting community and also for experienced international traders looking to refresh their skills. Featured speakers will include Rosanna Masucci, of the U.S. Department of Commerce; Daniel Duffy, of JPMorgan Chase Bank in Rochester; Scott Perkins, of Mohawk Global in Syracuse; Jon Yormick, of Yormick and Associates L.P.A.; and Louis Ho, of Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
The seminar is sponsored by the Small Business Development Center at Binghamton University, Alliance for Manufacturing & Technology, the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Department of Commerce-Buffalo Export Assistance Center, and Upstate New York District Export Council.
The program costs $25 a person, payable at the door, and includes a continental breakfast.
