Participants sought for heart health screening for women

The Women’s Health Care Partnership at Binghamton University is recruiting women ages 45-65, who live in the Walton area for a study on heart health.  Women are invited to attend a free health screening to see if they qualify to participate in the study.  The screening will be held from 9-5 p.m. Saturday, September 9, at Delaware Valley Hospital.

Participants will develop a better understanding of heart health risks, which may reduce the risk of heart attack or stroke.

The Promoting Heart Health in Rural Women Study is funded in part by the National Institutes of Health.
