Syndicated columnist and small business expert to lead panel at Binghamton University Homecoming
Bruce Freeman, a Binghamton University graduate and syndicated small business columnist for Scripps-Howard News Service, will lead a panel discussion on women and entrepreneurship at 2:30 p.m. Friday, October 17, in the Anderson Center Reception Room on the University campus. This event is free and open to the public.
As part of the University’s annual Homecoming weekend, Binghamton alumnae who are entrepreneurs will discuss their real-life business situations, challenges and successes during an Alumnae Entrepreneurship Panel. Freeman will also discuss his latest book Birthing the Elephant…The Woman’s Go-for-it Guide to Overcoming the Big Challenges of Launching a Business.
Freeman is an entrepreneur, serving as president of ProLine Communications, a New Jersey-based marketing and public relations firm. He is also an adjunct professor of marketing and entrepreneurship at Kean and Seton Hall Universities.
Registration by October 10 is required. Alumni can reserve spaces through the Homecoming website, located at http://homecoming.binghamton.edu. Members of the general public must call the Alumni Office at (607) 777-2431 to participate.
