“Andrea’s Voice” presentation addresses eating disorders
Binghamton University’s Eating Awareness Committee will present "Andrea's Voice," a production by Doris and Tom Smeltzer, whose daughter Andrea died after a yearlong struggle with bulimia. The program, which is free and open to the public, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, February 24, in Old Union Hall on the University campus.
The Smeltzers have given numerous presentations around the country to help educate people about the consequences of eating disorders and to inspire people whose eating and feelings are not in balance to seek help.
There will also be a round-table presentation and discussion with the Smeltzers from 1:30-3 p.m. on February 24 in room 324 of the University Union West.
The program is sponsored by the Eating Awareness Committee and Sodexho Campus Services at Binghamton University. For more information, visit www.andreasvoice.org or call 607-777-2821
