Binghamton University offers strategic planning services to local nonprofits
Binghamton University will offer free strategic planning assistance to local nonprofit organizations interested in acquiring highly skilled management assistance.
The planning assistance will be provided by graduate students in the master of public administration (MPA) program. The students, who are looking to gain practical experience, will evaluate each organization using the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) method.
Teams of three and four students will conduct the analysis with the support and guidance of a MPA faculty member. The analysis will be performed in February and March in one two-hour session with the nonprofit organization. Organizations will obtain this service on a first come, first serve basis.
Interested nonprofit organizations should contact the MPA office at 607-777-2719 by February 10.
