Dedication of the Decker School of Nursing Innovative Practice Center at Binghamton University
A dedication ceremony for the Decker School of Nursing Innovative Practice Center will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, December 8, on the 2nd floor of Academic Building B on the Binghamton University campus.
The Innovative Practice Center is a state of the art clinical simulation and multimedia center that has greatly improved the clinical learning needs of the school's growing undergraduate and graduate student population. It was created through a $500,000 gift from the Dr. G. Clifford and Florence B. Decker Foundation. The dedication event will include the unveiling of a plaque recognizing the Decker Foundation's support of the center.
Speakers will include Binghamton University President Lois DeFleur, the Decker School of Nursing Dean Joyce Ferrario, and Gerald Putman, executive director of the Decker Foundation. The event will also include a demonstration of equipment and state-of-the-art nursing tools made possible by the Decker Foundation gift.
