Kane takes job in Research division at Binghamton University
Terrence M. Kane has joined the Division of Research at Binghamton University as associate director of economic development and outreach.
Kane brings experience in government, economic development and private sector business to his role with the University. He will assist Bahgat Sammakia, director of economic development and outreach, focusing on advancing regional economic development opportunities by working with community and business partners to identify potential collaborations and by working to attract funding for such initiatives.
Kane previously served as deputy Broome County executive. He has also held posts as deputy regional director of the Empire Development Corp. and facilities director of the Roberson Museum and Science Center. He owns Kane Property Management, an investor-owned commercial real estate enterprise.
Kane holds a bachelor of arts from the University of Washington and an associate’s degree from Saddleback Community College in Mission Viejo, California.
