Binghamton University wins communications awards
Communicators from Binghamton University were honored in a number of categories including community relations, media relations and electronic communications at the 2005 SUNY Council for University Affairs and Development (SUNY/CUAD) Awards for Excellence ceremonies held in Cooperstown.
-Ryan Yarosh, media relations specialist - best of category in community relations programs for the “Ask a Scientist” program.
-Susan Barker, executive director of research advancement and Ashok Subramaanian, creative and information services director for research advancement – best of category in news/media relations or university relations for “Destination Discovery ’05.”
-Sandra Paniccia, assistant director for enrollment marketing – judges’ citation in electronic communications for the Binghamton University self-guided tour video.
-Katie Ellis, director of communications – judges’ citation in magapapers for Inside BU.
-Anita Doll, former director for enrollment management – best of category in individual viewbooks and best of category in visual design in print multi-page publications prospectuses for the University’s undergraduate admissions viewbook.
-Denise Czyprynski, director of publications – best of category in president’s/annual reports for Binghamton University’s Foundation Annual Report: “The Power of Connection,” and a judges’ citation in institutional relations publications for “Binghamton University by the Numbers.”
The SUNY/CUAD Awards for Excellence recognizes the work of professionals throughout the State University System in communications and advancement.
