Binghamton University to host exporting seminar
Binghamton University will host “The Mechanics of Exporting; A beginners guide or a refresher course” from 8:30 to noon Wednesday, June 29, in Lecture Hall 10 on the University campus.
This workshop is designed to assist small to medium sized firms in learning how to prepare and process export documentation, and how some of the more common trade transactions are financed. This program is tailored to those who are new to the exporting community and also for experienced international traders looking to refresh their skills. Featured speakers will include Daniel Duffy, vice president/global trade sales for JPMorgan Chase Bank in Rochester, and Tom Valentine, president of Team Worldwide.
This program is sponsored by the Small Business Development Center at Binghamton University, the Alliance for manufacturing & Technology, the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Department of Commerce-Buffalo Export Assistance Center, and the upstate New York District Export Council.
The program costs $25 a person, payable at the door, and includes a continental breakfast.
