Binghamton University celebrates student employees
Nominations are being sought for Binghamton University's annual student employee of the year awards. Local businesses or organizations are encouraged to submit the names of Binghamton University student employees they would like to recognize.
Nominees will be judged on qualities such as reliability, quality of work, initiative and professionalism. Four undergraduate students, one graduate and an off campus student will be selected as student employees of the year.
The awards will be given out in observance of Student Employment Appreciation Week, which will run from April 11- 15. The theme for this year is “Shaping Our Careers through Student Employment.” Student employees of the year will be officially recognized at a reception to be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, in the Mandela Room of the University Union. The reception is free and open to the public.
The student of the year award program is sponsored by Binghamton University's Office of Student Financial Aid and Employment.
