Learn your ‘Dollar$ and Sense’ during workshop


Entrepreneurs, small business owners and managers will have the opportunity to learn how to sell products or services to state and federal agencies, and prime contractors during an upcoming business development workshop.

The Federal Dollar$ and Sense workshop, which is open to the public, is set for 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, at the Holiday Inn Arena, 8 Hawley St., Binghamton.

Richard J. Olszewski of DB&B Peak Performance Management will provide the keynote address, “The Buyer-Seller Dance – Who Really Leads.” Additional workshops include discussions on how the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) can help businesses be more effective; and how to find business resources in the Southern Tier.

The program is sponsored by the SBA, Syracuse District; the Women’s Business Center of New York state; and the Binghamton University Small Business Development Center.

Cost is $10 and includes a continental breakfast, all speakers, materials and networking sessions. Seating is limited. For more information, call 777-4024.
