Binghamton University celebrates student employees
Nominations are being sought for Binghamton University's annual Student Employee of the Year awards. Local businesses or organizations are encouraged to submit the names of BU student employees they would like to recognize.
Nominees will be judged on qualities such as reliability, quality of work, initiative and professionalism. Four undergraduate students, one graduate and an off campus student will be selected as Student Employees of the Year.
The awards will be given out in observance of Student Employment Appreciation Week, which will run from Sunday, April 11 to Saturday, April 17. The theme for this year is “Paving paths to future careers.” Student employees of the year will be officially recognized on Thursday, April 15, in room 133 of the University Union.
The Student of the Year award program is sponsored by BU's Office of Student Financial Aid and Employment.
