Binghamton University to host series on handling bullies


Binghamton University will host a three-part noon-time series on bullies at work, home and in the schoolyard. The series is free and open to the public.

On Tuesday, November 11, Francine Montemurro, BU ombudsman, will address issues of bullying behavior in the workplace.

Bullies in the schoolyard will be the topic for Thursday, November 13, with a speaker from Family and Children’s Society.

A discussion on bullies at home is scheduled for Tuesday, November 18, with presenters from New Hope Center in Owego.

All programs begin at noon in room 324 of the University Union West.

The series is co-sponsored by Binghamton University’s Employee Assistance program, the Office of the University Ombudsman, and the University Counseling Center. For more information, contact 607-777-6655.
