Binghamton University offers financial planning panel
The Binghamton University Alumni Association will host a panel discussion on financial planning at 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, in Casadesus Recital Hall, located in the Fine Arts building on the University campus. The discussion is free and open to the public.
The panel will provide tips on how to stretch a paycheck, retirement planning and finding short-term income sources. The panel will also discuss how to successfully manage debt. A question and answer session will follow the discussion.
Panelists include Bill Lewis, regional vice president at AXA Advisors; Art Smith, executive vice president and retail banking officer at BSB Bank & Trust; Kevin Conklin, from the adjustments/recovery department at BSB Bank & Trust; and Michelle Yurko, financial officer at Charter One. Bill McCarthy, associate director of the Career Development Center at Binghamton University, will moderate the session.
