Binghamton University to host Executive Management Series
Binghamton University's Office of Continuing Education and Outreach will offer a series of workshops designed for executive level management, team leaders, human resources and mid-level managers. The workshops, which can be taken consecutively or individually, will be held from 9 a.m.-4p.m. at the University Downtown Center, located at 67 Washington Street.
The first workshop, “Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis,” will be held on September 23 and is designed to give attendees a basic foundation of problem solving methodologies. During “From Striving to Thriving: A New Look at Performance and Motivation,” to be held on October 14, supervisors and managers will have the chance to will learn about new directions being taken in encouraging motivation and performance. The third workshop “Advanced Leadership,” scheduled for November 6, is targeted towards current leaders and will challenge participants with case studies and simulations to test and enhance their leadership skills. The fourth and final course, “Performance Appraisals,” will be held on November 18 and will offer participants ideas and resources that can be applied to their own businesses and organizations.
