Managing conflict focus of women business owners roundtable
“Effective Conflict Management” will be the topic of the Small Business Development Center’s Women Business Owners Roundtable discussion from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 28, at the Binghamton Regency on Water Street in downtown Binghamton.
Rita Cerroni, a training consultant, will discuss how conflict, when not on a win/lose basis, can be healthy. Cerroni will offer insight into how positive changes can result from conflict situation in one’s personal and professional lives. She will also offer tips on the type of proven, effective skills to use in conflict resolution situations.
Cerroni has a master’s degree in adult education from Elmira College. As owner of Creative Training Solutions, a company that provides training programs for small and large businesses, Cerroni specializes in materials management, management training, team building and train-the-trainer programs.
The roundtable costs $7 a person and includes a continental breakfast. Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards, brochures and product samples to share.
