Binghamton University to host SUNY Statewide Student Financial Aid Days Workshop
Binghamton University will host a financial aid workshop at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17, in room 110 of the Engineering Building on the Binghamton University campus. The workshop is free and open to the public.
The workshop is being held in support of SUNY Statewide Financial Aid Days. Binghamton University will join over 38 campuses across New York State in participating in the event.
Financial aid experts from Binghamton University will be on hand to answer questions and provide assistance with applications, types of aid available and the award process. “Families can expect to get a better understanding of the entire financial aid process and what financial aid is all about by attending this community event. It's a great opportunity for families to learn about financial aid and the programs available to help them finance their students' education,” said Patricia Donahue, associate director, Binghamton University Financial Aid Services.
Counselors will also offer tips on completing the 2009–2010 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), a form required for all financial aid.
