Binghamton University admissions counselors and academic advisors will be on hand to meet with BCC students who seek to transfer to Binghamton in Fall 2009 and major in the arts, sciences, engineering or human development. Applicants must have successfully completed 45 credits and a minimum grade point average of 2.8 to apply. Counselors will meet one-on-one with all applicants to determine admission to Binghamton. Students should bring official, sealed transcripts from previous colleges attended, and BCC will provide official transcripts for students. Unofficial transcripts will be reviewed for conditional admission only. Appointments are required and should be made by Friday, March 6. To register, call (607) 778-5210, or e-mail email@example.com.
Approximately 1,000 of all entering students at Binghamton are transfers with more than half coming from two-year schools, including Broome Community College.
