Alumni Association welcomes new board members
The Binghamton University Alumni Association announced that it has selected Margaret Lamphere Bellville, James Stehli and Arlene Michele Barnard to serve on its Board of Directors. Directors serve two-year terms with a maximum of three consecutive terms.
Bellville, a Binghamton-area native and Class of 1976 graduate, is a partner at Carter Baldwin Executive Search Services in Roswell, Ga. Bellville was a guest speaker at Homecoming 2005, presenting “Women as Leaders: Personal Power and Risk Taking.” She is a board member for the Television Arts and Sciences Foundation, RCH Cable and American Israel Chamber of Commerce. Bellville captured the World Champion Showmanship Title at the American Quarter Horse Association Bayer Select World Championship Show in August 2008.
Stehli, a Manhattan resident and Class of 1988 graduate, is managing partner of Sirona Advisors in Manhattan. He is a mentor to students in the University’s School of Management (SOM). While working at UBS, he helped create a partnership between SOM and the firm. Stehli founded the Binghamton chapter of the Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity.
Barnard, a Bronx resident and Class of 1990 graduate, helps recruit students for the University. As a student, she was the founder and charter member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. - Lambda Zeta chapter. Barnard served as the National Pan-Hellenic Council representative to the Fraternity Sorority Advisory Committee.
