Art Exhibit: The 2003 Studio Art Faculty Exhibit features selected recent artworks by the studio art faculty.

George III vs. Napoleon Exhibition: An exhibition of prints from the collection of Professor Grant Webster. The Napoleonic period, which coincided with the age of English political caricature, is the subject of the exhibit. The caricature developed slowly in 18th century England, in conjunction with the rise of newspapers and magazines. Works by James Sayers, James Gillray, Thomas Rowlandson and George Cruikshank, are included in the exhibit, which ends November 1.

Photography from the Great Depression: The exhibit offers a selection of work from the Art Museum’s Permanent Collection by photographers who were hired to promote the New Deal policies and spread awareness of the then poverty stricken country. The exhibit is being curated by museum intern Sandra DiNicola and ends November 8. An extension of the exhibit is located in the Provost’s Conference Room, AD-712.
