Alumni Association welcomes new board members

BINGHAMTON, NY – The Binghamton University Alumni Association has elected Mary Beth Curtin of Endwell, Jose Moreira of Endicott, and Marcia Steinbrecher of Windsor to its Board of Directors. Their terms of service began July 1.

Curtin is a three-time Binghamton University graduate, having earned a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences in 1982, master’s degree in teaching in 1987, and a master’s degree in biological sciences in 1988. Curtin is currently associate director of Binghamton University’s Small Scale Systems Integration and Packaging Center.

Moreira has two Binghamton University degrees – a bachelor’s degree in management earned in 2000, and a master’s degree in business administration earned in 2003. He is vice president of operations for Cleaner’s Supply in Conklin.

Steinbrecher earned a bachelor’s degree in applied social science from Binghamton in 1990. She is a former University staff member, was president of Steinbrecher Steel Services, Inc., and currently serves as a board member for several organizations in Broome County.
