Binghamton University offers art history tour

       The Binghamton University Office of Continuing Education and Outreach is coordinating a trip to Rhode Island and Massachusetts, scheduled to run May 17-20.  The tour is open to the public.

       The tour includes stops at author Edith Wharton’s architectural dream home “The Mount” Estate and Gardens in Lenox, Massachusetts; Rosecliff Mansion, the Museum of Newport History, and St. Mary’s Church in Newport; the New Bedford Whaling Museum; the Lizzie Borden Museum; Battleship Cove; the Culinary Archives & Museum at Johnson Wales University in Providence, R.I.; and the RISD Museum, which houses more than 80,000 works of art.

       Participants will also visit Fort Adams and take a one-hour private harbor tour.
