BINGHAMTON, NY – In celebration of National Engineers Week, the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science at Binghamton University will host a full day of programming for budding engineers on Saturday, Feb. 25. The events, which are free and open to students of all ages, will run from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the new state-of-the-art Engineering and Science Building located at 85 Murray Hill Road in Vestal.

Students can take part in several popular activities such as the 15-foot egg drop, the wind-powered vehicle race, and the spaghetti bridge challenge.  In addition to these classic events, there are some exciting new challenges including a remote control robot racecourse, and the chance to build a solar cell.  Attendees can also view the supermileage vehicle, and enjoy the perks of a nitrogen and ice cream demonstration.
