"Girls Take Charge" at Binghamton University leadership conference
Binghamton University will offer a one-day leadership conference for high school girls on Saturday, January 27.
“Girls Take Charge” will feature interactive workshops, local female leaders sharing their experiences and insights on creating success and making a difference, as well as leadership activities. The students will also participate in a fun and challenging “Project Runway”-type activity at the end of the day where they will apply their new skills.
The program will run from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Public Service Programs Center on the Binghamton University campus. The fee of $50 includes all materials and lunch. To register, call (607) 777-6857, fax (607) 777-4544 or e-mail conted@binghamton.edu by January 12.
