BINGHAMTON, NY -- Dignitaries from Visions Federal Credit Union and Binghamton University will ‘light up’ a new electronic marquee outside the Anderson Center for the Performing Arts at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 15. A gift from Visions Federal Credit Union, the marquee will display event information and other updates to Anderson Center performance-goers.

For Binghamton University President Lois B. DeFleur, the marquee characterizes Binghamton University’s relationship with the community.

“Visions is a strong supporter of the community and the University,” said DeFleur. “We are very grateful for this marquee and the many other ways in which Visions supports this institution.  Their efforts make this a better University, and the Southern Tier a better community.”           

The marquee uses the latest Daktronics LED video technology and offers the capabilities to present video images, colorful animation and graphics. In keeping with the University’s energy conservation efforts, the system also features minimal maintenance and low power consumption.
