Students to hit the jackpot with fundraiser
The College-in–the-Woods dining hall at Binghamton University will be transformed into a casino beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 1, complete with roulette, black jack and chance wheels with all proceeds going to a good cause. The event is open to the public.
Known as Casino-in-the-Woods, the annual event is hosted by the College-in-the-Woods area government. Each year Casino-in-the-Woods benefits a different local organization. This year’s proceeds will go to the Chris Klimuszka Fund. Klimuszka, a Binghamton University employee, was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor last year.
A cover charge of $2 includes refreshments and music. Participants purchase chips to play games of chance.
