Comedian Lewis Black to perform at Binghamton University Homecoming

Comedians Lewis Black and Stephen Lynch are scheduled to perform 7p.m. Sunday, October 23, in the West Gym, as part of Binghamton University’s Homecoming Weekend celebration.

Lewis Black, a weekly political commentator on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” has received broad critical acclaim for his social and political stand-up routine. Labeled as “America’s Foremost Commentator on Everything,” Black has starred in two half-hour specials for Comedy Central and authored over 40 plays that have been produced across the country.

Opening for Black, will be Stephen Lynch, widely recognized for his memorable lyrics and original material. Lynch has appeared on shows such as “the World Comedy Tour,” “Last Call with Carson Daly,” and stars in his own “Comedy Central Presents” special.

The performance will be followed by a fireworks display hosted by Campus Life and the Student Association.

Tickets for the concert are $25 and are available in the University Union's Tillman Lobby box office and on Ticketmaster. The concert is sponsored by the Student Association's University Programming Board.
