Binghamton University student orchestra to present inaugural concert

The Binghamton University Sinfonia, a new student-run and conducted orchestra, will present its inaugural winter concert at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 7, in the Anderson Center Chamber Hall. 

The program to be performed includes Mozart’s Seraglio Overture, Borodin’s In the Steppes of Central Asia, Handel’s Music for the Royal Fireworks, Mendelssohn’s Overture for Winds, and selections from Richard Rogers’ musical, South Pacific.

A reception will follow the concert. Tickets are $2 and can be purchased at the door on the day of the concert.  Sinofina is a non-profit organization chartered by Binghamton University’s Student Association.
