Binghamton University sponsors "Employer Compliance Assistance Forum"
The Binghamton University Small Business Development Center and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Small Business Programs are sponsoring an “Employer Compliance Assistance Forum” from 9a.m. to noon Thursday, February 7, at the Binghamton Regency Hotel.
The forum will provide small business owners with valuable information regarding occupational safety and health, labor and employment issues. Participants will also learn how compliance assistance can help strengthen a business. Representatives from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Small Business Programs, Wages and Hour Division, the Employee Benefits Security Administration, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, will participate in the forum and answers questions from small business owners. The forum is free and includes a continental breakfast. All small business owners who have employees should try to attend. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. Advanced registration is required.
