"It's About Time!" for women business owners

“It’s About Time!” will be the topic of the Binghamton University Small Business Development Center’s Women Business Owners Roundtable from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, in the Southern Tier Room of the Holiday Inn Arena, located on Hawley Street in Binghamton.

Mary Ann Thompson, a life coach and motivational speaker, will teach participants time management skills, which can translate into success in the business world.  Thompson will discuss “AIR: Acknowledge, Identify, Reallocate”, a technique which can help business owners make the most of their time.

Thompson, who owns and operates the local business Achieve, founded the “Celebrating Women in Business” conference, twice serving as its chairperson in 2003 and 2004.

The roundtable costs $10 a person payable at the door and includes a continental breakfast. Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards and brochures to share.

Advance registration is required. Call Binghamton University’s Small Business Development Center at 607-777-4024 to register.
