Binghamton University to host a "Weekend Writer's Series" at the Downtown Center

 Binghamton University's Office of Continuing Education and Outreach, in collaboration with the Art School, will host a "Weekend Writer's Series" workshop at the University Downtown Center located at 67 Washington Street. The four-week program will be held from 9a.m. - noon, every weekend in February.

The workshop, which is ideal for both aspiring and professional writers, will cover topics such as creative non-fiction, picture books, flash fiction and poetry. Instructors for the program include authors Suzanne Bloom, Mark Budman, Elizabeth Cohen and Andrei Guruianu.

The Art School is a community-serviced based organization whose goal is to provide affordable art education to all people and use art to educate the community.
