Staying motivated focus of women business owners roundtable

“How to Stay Motivated Even on Bad Days,” will be the topic of the Small Business Development Center’s Women Business Owners Roundtable discussion from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. Friday, January 24, at the Binghamton Regency on Water Street in downtown Binghamton.

Mary Ann Thompson, owner of Achieve, a life and career consultancy, will offer tips and techniques on self-motivation. Thompson will discuss how to reach a state of equilibrium with the ‘Spokes of Life’ visual tool.

Thompson holds an associates degree in electronics and is a retired IBM staff engineer.  In addition to owning and operating Achieve, Thompson is an accomplished runner and a two-time breast cancer survivor.

The roundtable costs $7 a person and includes a continental breakfast. Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards, brochures and product samples to share.

Advance registration is required. Call the SBDC at 607-777-4024 to register.
