Binghamton University to hold "Instant Admission Day" for BCC students

     Binghamton University will hold an “Instant Admission Day” for Broome Community College (BCC) students from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, in BCC’s Office of Counseling Career & Transfer Services located in Suite 210 of the Student Services Building.


     Admissions counselors and academic advisors will be on hand to meet with BCC students who seek to transfer to Binghamton University in Spring 2009 and major in the arts, sciences or human development. Counselors will meet one-on-one with all applicants to determine admission to Binghamton. Applications and details for students interested in applying for Fall 2009 will be also be available.


     A third of all entering students at Binghamton are transfers with more than half coming from two-year schools, including Broome Community College. Students should bring official, sealed transcripts from all previous colleges attended. Unofficial transcripts will be reviewed for conditional admission only.
