Binghamton University holds peace march and vigil in response to Mumbai terrorist attack
BINGHAMTON, NY -- Binghamton University students, faculty and staff will gather at 4:30 p.m. Friday, December 5, in the Dickinson Amphitheater for a peace march and candle light vigil in response to the terrorist attack in Mumbai, India. This event is open to the public.
Attendees will march around the campus, returning to the amphitheater. The event will close with briefs remarks by faculty and staff as well as members of the Indian Graduate Student Organization. More than 390 students from India currently attend Binghamton University.
The event is being coordinated by the Binghamton University Indian Graduate Student Organization.
