BINGHAMTON, NY – Binghamton University will host a head-shaving fundraiser for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation from 4-9 p.m. Sunday, April 18, in the Mandela Room of the University Union. This event is free and open to the public.

The fundraiser is organized by Binghamton students Jackie Anne Senz and Paul Veccione. They are seeking individuals willing to participate in the event by either having their head shaved or through a pledged donation.  All funds raised will assist the St. Baldrick’s Foundation in their mission to fund childhood cancer research projects. Over 160,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year, according to the Foundation.

The event will also feature raffles, performances, and live music from WHRW.
