  • Career consulting appointments: Staff are available to support students 1:1 with their summer opportunities search. Encourage your student to visit the Fleishman Career Center in UU-133 weekdays from noon–4 for a walk-in appointment, where our staff can provide guidance on searching for and applying to various positions.
  • hireBING by Handshake: This job search platform is exclusive for Binghamton University students and contains postings for hundreds of summer opportunities, both remote and in-person.
  • Career Clusters: Students can sign up for one or more career clusters to receive weekly newsletters with job and internship opportunities, industry insights and more.

Intern for Academic Credit (CDCI 395)

Students have the opportunity to earn academic credit for their summer internships through the Credit-Bearing Internship Program by enrolling in the CDCI 395 course. Internships are an important way that students explore careers and gain experience, and this program enhances the educational value of internship experiences. CDCI 395 includes an asynchronous online seminar designed to teach students how to make the most of their internship experience and how to leverage their summer internship to propel them to their next opportunity. Visit our website for additional information and registration instructions.
