High Energy Theory

High energy theoretical physics involves understanding and developing tests for fundamental processes and phenomena in elementary particle physics, astrophysics, and cosmology. Currently with students at Binghamton, research is focused on (i) top quark physics, Higgs physics, and neutrino physics in the context of experiments at CERN, Fermilab, and elsewhere, and on (ii) properties and novel consequences of paraparticle quantum field theories with respect to Dark Matter, Dark Energy, and possible discoveries at the Large Hadron Collider.
