TIER Talks

The first TIER Talks (Talks that Inspire, Educate and Resonate) event offered in New York City took place on April 5 at the SUNY Global Center in Manhattan. The topic was “Chaos in the 21st Century? The Future of U.S. Foreign Policy.” Nearly 60 people attended the event and more than 75 watched the live webcast of this discussion. The speakers were Eric Schwartz ’79, former UN and White House official, and Ricardo Rene Larémont, professor of political science and sociology at Binghamton University. TIER Talks is a showcase for the University’s intellectual and thought leaders, and brings noted alumni and faculty to the figurative table to inform and engage audiences on hot topics. M&T Bank is the presenting sponsor for this speaker series introduced by the Alumni Association in 2014.
