Spring Job & Internship Fair

Representatives from various organizations including for-profit, government and not for-profit attended the Career Development Center’s Spring 2013 Job & Internship Fair on Jan. 31, to speak with students regarding entry-level full-time and/or internship opportunities.
    • Student attendance was 22 percent higher than at the Spring 2012 Fair (1,114 students attend in spring 2012 and 1,357 attended in spring 2013).
    • 73 organizations participated the Spring 2013 Fair, the highest employer participation since 2008, and up 10 percent from the 66 that participated in spring 2012.
    • 12 organizations attended the Spring 2013 Fair for the first time. They may have had previous connections with the University through job or internship postings or other activity but had not attended a job fair.
    • 40 percent of employers were recruiting from any major.
