SSD Recognition Program

The Office of Services for students with Disabilities honored several faculty and staff for their personal efforts to make Binghamton a more inclusive environment during an annual reception. Honorees were:
    • Christopher Bishop, associate professor of psychology
    • Debora Clinton Callaghan, senior associate director of First Year Experience/Educational Leadership Program/Public Speaking Lab
    • Lois Einhorn, professor of English, general literature and rhetoric
    • Randy Friedman, assistant professor of Judaic studies
    • Gina Glasman, adjunct lecturer of Judaic studies
    • Lisa Gould, classroom scheduling coordinator
    • Carol Hall, assistant director of services for students with disabilities
    • Eileen Head, undergraduate program director for computer science
    • Grace Hoefner, senior associate director of housing and crisis management
    • Andrew Kelley, student
    • Rebecca Kissling, lecturer of chemistry
    • Kenneth Kurtz, associate professor of psychology
    • Susan Seibold-Simpson, assistant professor of nursing

In recognition beyond Binghamton University, Vice President for Student Affairs Brian Rose was selected as this year’s recipient of the New York State Disability Services Council’s Campus Access Award, which was presented on June 25, at the NYSDSC Conference in Canandaigua, N.Y.
