Men’s soccer earns national academic honor

Men’s soccer earns national academic honor

For the ninth time in 11 years, the Binghamton men’s soccer program earned team academic honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). The NSCAA listed the Bearcats among its Team Academic recipients for producing a 3.0 or higher GPA during the 2012-13 school year. Binghamton’s collective GPA was a 3.20.

“I’m very proud of our guys’ achievements in the classroom,” head coach Paul Marco said. “This is a great honor for our team as it demonstrates the collective quality they have in the classroom. We have some great student athletes and this award demonstrates those qualities.”
