The Division of Academic Affairs has evolved in recent years to become truly wide-ranging in its responsibilities, overseeing what happens in the classroom to what happens behind the scenes in the Business Office, from working to increase the number of underrepresented students entering STEM fields to supporting engagement from the local to the international level. Two exciting spring events will highlight Binghamton University research and innovation. The campus’ annual Research Days, planned April 22-24, will feature speeches, workshops and student poster sessions. On April 24, faculty, students, alumni and industry partners will gather for the fourth-annual Innovation Day. This year’s event will address Innovation for the 21st and a Half Century, with a keynote by Newsweek columnist Kevin Maney and panels led by faculty and students.
