The Division of Academic Affairs has a lot on its plate as the University prepares to launch its Road Map strategic plan. Slowing down is not an option for the Division of External Affairs, even in the dead of winter. Whether it’s hosting Winter Madness, re-launching alumni chapters, strategizing with the Foundation Board or improving Binghamton University’s Web presence, everyone in the division was working at full speed.
A new Binghamton University study has found that academic success is infectious. News of this finding by faculty researcher Hiroki Sayama and some high school-aged collaborators has spread around the world. This spring, the University hopes to spread something a little different: Excitement about research. Binghamton Research Days will be celebrated in April, with a national speaker, laboratory tours and student poster sessions headlining the lineup.
