While we're active in the research community, the Cameron Lab is also involved with the community at large. Here are some of the ways we work to bring our findings to the outside world.
Lourdes PACT Program -- TBA
Graduate students from the Cameron lab will be presenting a lecture to staff members of the Lourdes Hospital's Parents And Children Together (PACT) program concerning the effects of maternal care on puberty, sexual risk taking, and teen pregnancy.
Brain Awareness -- March 25, 2011
Graduate students from the Cameron lab will be talking to local elementary school students about the brain and its basic functions. Last year's Play-Doh activity was a big hit!
Science Cabaret -- August 3, 2010
Dr. Cameron presented a lecture at the Lost Dog Cafe as part of Science Cabaret, a series of talks designed to reach a broader portion of Binghamton residents.
