Instructor of Psychology
PhD, Boston University
Office: Science 3, Room 150
My primary role in the Psychology Department is to teach the core courses (Introductory Psychology, Statistics, Research Methods). In addition, I also teach the Industrial/Organizational Psychology undergraduate seminar. Periodically I offer our Evolutionary Psychology course through the Scholars Program on our campus. Occasionally I teach experimental courses ranging from Perception to Learning to Physiological Psychology.
Psi Chi is the national honor society for psychology majors and the Student Psychological Association (SPA) is a student-run organization devoted to increasing career opportunities for all psychology majors as well as community service. I have the privilege of serving as Binghamton University's faculty advisor to both of these organizations. Both have been very active with regard to offering undergraduates opportunities to learn more about the field of psychology and where their career plans may take them. I meet regularly with the officers of these organizations to plan such activities. If you are interested in learning more about membership in either organization, please get in touch.
