Your DARS is your key to understanding the progress you are making toward your degree. It is the tool you use to plan the rest of your time here at Binghamton, and it is important you know how to read it properly.

Transferring courses to Binghamton

Make sure that you have all of the transcripts for your previous college credit sent to Binghamton. Once these are processed the credit will appear on BUbrain. If there is a course that did not transfer as a direct equivalent to one of our requirements you may petition for those credits to count. All you need to do is bring/send a course description of syllabus to the advising office. Our undergraduate director will review the course and determine if it is equivalent. Courses found on the course-to-course equivalency table below will automatically transfer as listed. Those not posted on course-to-course will need additional review.

Use the course-to-course look-up tool to see how your credits will transfer to Binghamton.

Use the reverse look-up function to find course equivalencies at other institutions.

Get involved

The Psychology Department and Psi Chi (National honor society in psychology) both hold events throughout the semester for you to get involved with. There are also a large number of clubs on campus always looking for new members.
