Program Accreditation

Binghamton University, one of the country's most distinguished public universities, reached its 65th anniversary in 2011 with a strong reputation for excellence, accessibility, and diversity of its educational programs. One of four University Centers of the State University of New York, Binghamton offers programs leading to bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees.

The School of Management's graduate programs reflect our commitment to future leaders. The faculty members of the School of Management are widely known for excellence in teaching. Our curriculum conveys knowledge of cutting-edge theory and practice through a variety of learning approaches, including case analysis, team projects, and individual research. The outstanding reputation of our faculty is also based on the knowledge generated through their research and on the creative application of knowledge to help solve real-world problems. U.S. News World Report has recently ranked Binghamton University's MBA program among the Top 100 Programs in the nation.

All School of Management MBA programs are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB International). AACSB International accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools and is considered the hallmark of excellence in management education. Accreditation standards set by the AACSB International are rigorously enforced. Of the more than 2,000 business programs across the United States, approximately 700 have AACSB International accreditation.
The school is also a full member of the Executive MBA Council. The mission of this organization is to foster excellence and innovation in Executive MBA programs in a globally competitive environment.
