Jobs and Internships

The School of Management strongly encourages experiential learning as a way to solidify career decision-making. Well-structured internship experiences are a valuable way to combine classroom experience and real world application. Internships establish a network that can be integral in the search for full-time placement. To receive credit for an internship, students must file a request with the SOM Advising Center.

Students within SOM have access to two databases of recruiters and opportunities in a variety of industries. There is one that is exclusive to SOM students and another that is open to all Binghamton University students through the Career Development Center.  While the majority of internships and full-time jobs are located in the Metro New York area, the SOM Career Services team is continually posting new opportunities throughout the country.

For more information about how to prepare and/or search for an internship or full-time opportunity, please see a member of the SOM Career Services team in AA-G16 or email
