The Systems Science and Industrial Engineering (SSIE) department of the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science at Binghamton University proudly presents its third annual Pursuit of Operational Excellence (OpEx) Conference.
This event exists to facilitate improved associations between industry professionals, the SSIE department, and the SSIE student body. Industry professionals will leave this conference with better insights as to how industrial and systems engineering can optimize their operations.
The conference will also highlight the potential for utilizing the full capabilities of industrial and systems engineering practices offered by the SSIE department and its students, providing case examples.
The Pursuit of Operational Excellence (OpEx) Conference will be held in conjunction with Homecoming's Alumni Weekend and will feature speakers from industry, academia, and alumni from the SSIE department. Presentations and discussions will be held in the areas of healthcare systems, electronics packaging, globalization issues, and defense and commercial industries.
